RTA News and July 11th Meeting Re-Cap

Thank you for attending the Rising Tides Alliance luncheon meeting, July 11th.  We hope you were able to make great business connections and meet new friends.  

Below is our meeting re-cap to help you to remember members and easily connect with them.  It is great to see our network growing! 

Perry Dinapoli open the meeting welcoming new guests and members. Perry announced The Briarcliff Manor has a “Sinatra NIght” on July 20th.  Also, Wednesday Night Live last month was a great success raising $7k for Geo helping Matt Gullotta succeed in achieving the goal of raising 50k for a grant for research in Geo’s name.   If you have a benefit that you would like to have sponsored by RTA, please contact Perry and he will help to make it happen. 

Ryan Smith announce that our friend and former RTA Member Stacey Tompkins and her husband have
invited us to their lakeside home for our August Networking Meeting. Come dressed casually but be sure to bring swimwear and a towel so you can take a dip in the lake or go for a ride in the boat. Guests,
spouses, girlfriends, and boyfriends are welcome to join.

Jenna Roach, of Cobblestone Abstract in Yorktown servicing both residential and commercial properties, “At Cobblestone we leave no stone unturned.” Her 2nd hat and passion is flipping houses and is buying in Westchester County.  She is feeling out a possible name for her business “Roach’s To Riches” which everyone seemed to love! She also thanked Walter Camas for his recent referral. 

Carol Christiansen Principal Broker at Cafe Realty.  Carol enjoys working with 1st time buyers and refers all over NYS, Bronx to Dutches county. Carol shared when dealing with referrals you must call immediately and thanked Lisa Sauro for a referral that she just signed on the day before. 

Guest member Susan Radzilowicz from Freedom Land Title Agency joined us as a guest of Cesar Callan. Services commercial and residential Title. She doesn’t practice realestate but uses it to feed title work.  “Don’t close without us. 

Cesar Callan “I meet my clients by accident”. Ceasar is a Personal Injury Attorney and takes no money unless money is recovered. Good referral come from the people you talk to.  Carol Christiansen had brought him to an RTA meeting and he had never did any formal networking, this is his first group and enjoys several referals from this group. 

Walter Camas Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, Purchase NY. He helps many through financial therapy. He has real conversations and real relationships with his clients in order to help them properly, because it’s not just numbers. 

Guest member Annick Duignan, Life Coach, supports you now and where you want to be. Annick works with parents and teens with whats next. Works with grieving a loss and supports them to moving forward.  Annick offers free exploratory session to see if it’s a good fit.  Referrals are followed up quickly and mostly about building relationships. 

Ryan Smith a Digital Designer at Play Nice Together offers graphic, business card and web design. Perry DiNapoli brought Ryan in as an RTA member and has had many referrals over his last 6 years as a member. 

Guest of Brian Campbell, Rich Kenney, owner of a consulting agency called Cop Call Consulting, which provides Security Consulting, Executive Protections, and Private Investigations. Not just cheating husbands, discovery, looking for evidence. “I offer help and follow up on leads with spead and urgency, you can never follow up enough till they tell you to stop.” 

Brian Campbell, Managing Partner with Rockland Professional Services, offers accounting and business consulting, tax preparation & bookkeeping. “Referrals need to be followed up right away but try not to push yourself onto them.  Follow up and then follow up even more.” 

André Geraghty, Westchester Rep for PrimePay Payroll Company. PrimePay is the largest in the U.S. He recently received 2 referrals, one from Walter Camas and one from Amir Asadi. He always follows up immediately. 

Christopher Nealon, Owner – Chistopher’s Photography and Video Studio. He mostly does weddings, video photography and headshots. Chris works with Perry here at The Briarcliff Manor allot. When referred a client he gets back to them immediately.  He finds that follow up should be in the same method of contact.  Millennial’s like to use text or facebook.  He suggests asking how they would like to be contacted.  Sometimes it can be hard to get people to commit but just keep contacting them. 

Guest member Larry Gillet, H & H Photographers in Irvington NY. Larry enjoys his work, he loves to go to work. When Larry receives a referral he instantly gets back to them up to 3 times and not much by phone. 

Jim Newhouse of Newhouse Financial and Insurance Brokers.  A good referral is someone who needs insurance. Jim makes health insurance easier to understand.  More changes are coming, and he is a great sounding board. Something comes up and you need it but then you put it away and forget but know that new innovations can save you money and secure you a better policy. “Social Media is a great source of referrals, I’m a favorite on Chappaqua Moms!” Jim is good at following up mostly through emails. 

Amir Asadi Advisor for MassMutual, focusses on your personal financial security. Amir’s best skill is the skill of listening as a financial therapist. “When a client shares info you better listen.  I ask what can I do for you and I always want to be known as a good man.” 

Perry DiNapoli of The Briarcliff Manor, thanked those for the wonderful accolade.  “We have been very busy, this past weekend we had 3 weddings and a funeral. 150 guest Irish Funeral, Mom said how perfect it was for a send off for her husband.  Because we are a home, guests enjoy the grounds outside, inside, they hang out and we provide a home away from home service.”
